Can Hulikkal electric bicycles be serviced by any bicycle shop?

At Hulikkal, we have made it a priority to make sure that our bicycles are very easily serviceable. Due to our unique hub motor design and branded / standard parts, any bicycle shop – electric or not – can perform any sort of a repair easily.

Where do I get the Electrical Parts serviced / repaired?

In case any electrical parts are not functioning as they should. Please get in touch with the nearest authorized dealer.

What do I do if there is no authorized dealer in my town?

No worries!

Step 1: Report the issue via our email or phone. One of our team members will get back to you within 24 hours. We have customer service agents available 7 days a week to make sure that you never have to wait more than a day for a response. Step 2: We will first try and troubleshoot the issue remotely. If the issue requires professional work, you can locate a bicycle shop near you that will be able to service the bicycle.

Step 3: You drop off the bike at the shop and then we communicate directly with the mechanics there. Hulikkal customer service representative will work with them to analyze the issue and guide them through the repair. If any spare parts are needed, we shall send the parts by express courier service to them directly to the shop at no charge to you. Once the issue is resolved, you get notified via email or phone and then simply pick up the bicycle at your convenience!

Why this works so well?

All of the mechanical parts on the bicycle are standard components – the brakes, tyre/tube, handle set, crankset and so on. As for the electrical components – the motor, battery, and controller, these are all readily replaceable, which means that a service shop simply needs to be able to take off and replace that part.

Our components are engineered in such a way that virtually any bike shop can handle troubleshooting the problems even though you may be buying the bike online, you’ll find that with us – local support is never more than an email or a phone call away.
